Parade 2006
At the site of the temporary building with planned demolishment, I worked on drawings using the surface of existing objects, traces and etc.
After completed drawings, just before tearing down the building, I disassembled drawings there, brought them to the gallery and then reassembled them.
철거가 예정된 조립식 가건물에서 기존에 사용되던 기물들과 흔적 등을 그대로 이용하여 작업하였다. 이 건물은 17년간 사용되어 온 대학원 강의실 겸 작업실이었다. 학교 계획에 의해 철거가 예정되었고 나는 이곳에서 2개월간 작업을 하였다. 그동안 사용되어 온 건물의 자재인 칠판, 블라인드, 환풍기, 코드선, 벽시계 등이 작업 안에 포함되었다. 나는 작업을 마치고 건물이 철거되기 전 이를 해체하였으며 전시장으로 이동, 다시 재조립하였다.
